DATE/TIME/PLACE: Saturday morning, May 18, 8:30 a.m. Starts in front of Harlan High School, Central St., in downtown Harlan.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Level paved streets located in historical downtown Harlan. The course begins on Central St. with a right turn onto N. Main. The course continues to the historical coal monument which participants will “round” and follow the same course back to Harlan High School.

Announcing the First Annual zzzZombie Run to benefit Bell County Peace in Kentucky Homes Network. The zzzZombie run is a 5k run with a zombie survival twist! Begin the race a regular human runner, but can you make it across the finish line with your brains still in tact? Zombies (actors) will be chasing you, and trying to steal your brains (represented by 3 "flags" on your waist). It’s up to you to outrun, outsmart and outlast the living dead that are hungry for the brains of runners.

Saturday morning, October 20. 9:00 a.m. From MAR Hospital parking lot go half block, turn left on 35th; go one block turn right on Dorchester down to 26th St; left on 26th two blocks to Worchester; left on Worchester to end at T; right at T to sharp left at pool and follow Cirencester past College campus to turn left on Airport Rd; left on Cumberland Ave back to Hospital.
